AEVUM OFFICE

The Integrated Art Department for Families and their Advisors

ABOUT

Modern art collections of scale require more than just curation; they demand infrastructure. Aevum Office operates as a strategic extension of the family office, applying the same financial rigour and institutional standards to cultural assets as are applied to the rest of a family’s portfolio. We bridge the gap between the private collection and the global market, providing independent stewardship through every stage of the collection lifecycle.

SERVICES

Advisory
Independent strategic guidance across the full lifecycle of a collection. We establish a defined mandate to align your art with your broader portfolio, executing with rigour on acquisitions, deaccessions, and succession planning.

Management
Comprehensive oversight and care for collections end-to-end, internationally. We provide a centralized, cloud-based stewardship system and global coordination across transport, storage, framing, and conservation through a trusted network of partners.

Value projects
Augmenting the visibility and market position of your collection. Through publishing, exhibitions, and museum partnerships, we shape how your holdings are experienced and valued, building a culturally coherent and financially considered legacy.

Cultural Experiences
Privileged access and insider market knowledge at the highest level. We curate partner-led international trips—from la Biennale di Venezia to Art Basel—designed to build your relationships and insights through private tours and special events.

OUR ECOSYSTEM

On matters of legal structuring, tax optimization, and cross-border succession, we work alongside a curated network of regional and global. This ensures that art strategy is never siloed, but fully integrated into the broader family office governance.

FEE STRUCTURE

Our engagement is built on a transparent, mandate-based model that ensures our advice is never compromised by commission-based incentives. We offer four tiers—Establishing, Core, Premier, and Bespoke—utilizing a combination of fixed annual retainers and project-based fees tailored to the complexity of the mandate. We do not accept commissions or third-party incentives.

TEAM

The partners at Aevum Office combine strategy, access, and execution across global markets and curatorial contexts.

Aevum Office is a specialist art advisory firm providing integrated collection stewardship and strategic art department services for ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families, family offices, and foundations across Singapore, India, the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, the Middle East, and international markets.

Between us, we are fluent across art world domains: primary and secondary markets, institutional programming, collection management, cultural philanthropy, digital art and new media, and the commercial and curatorial relationships that move works at the highest level. Our careers have taken us across Sydney, New York, London, Hong Kong, Zürich, Singapore, Canada, and Saudi Arabia, giving us deep working knowledge of established and emerging markets across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and South, Southeast, and East Asia — their organisations, their cultural contexts, and their economics. Our understanding of the Singapore family office sector and the evolving private wealth landscape across South and Southeast Asia, including the significant private holdings emerging across India, is built on direct participation rather than proximity.

We have worked on both sides of every transaction, across institutions as varied as the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Sydney Biennale, Victoria Miro, Aicon Gallery, White Cube, Artsy, Sotheby's, Christie's, Art Basel, Frieze, Cahiers d'Art, the Royal Commission for AlUla, la Biennale di Venezia, Desert X, and Wadi AlFann, among others. We have bought and sold, advised and executed, negotiated and placed. Our read on market dynamics — across geographies, price points, and collecting categories — is current, granular, and built from being active participants in the market rather than observers of it. Our networks span major institutional collections across four continents, giving our clients access to opportunities that rarely surface publicly.

We are builders of collections and the infrastructure around them. We serve as an integrated art department for families and family offices, establishing frameworks for collection consolidation, portfolio rebalancing, and generational transition. We have turned private holdings into exhibitions and publications, structured collections for institutional partnership, and delivered complex cultural programmes across public, private, and philanthropic contexts at scale. Direct relationships with artists, curators, and galleries at every level of the market give us an early read on emerging talent, shifting valuations, and collector sentiment — the kind of ground-level knowledge that informs better acquisition and divestment decisions. We also understand that collecting is not always linear. Families' needs and circumstances change over time, and we bring the same strategic rigour to questions of what to acquire, what to hold, and what to release, helping clients build and manage collections that are both culturally coherent and financially considered.

Our practice is fully integrated with the tools that modern collection management demands. We work with AI-assisted reporting and portfolio visualisation, cloud-based stewardship systems, and XR and digital presentation technology — practical capabilities that allow us to manage and communicate collections with precision. We are also active advisors on the emerging market for digital and new media art, ensuring the collections we work with are as attentive to where the art world is going as to where it has been.

We specialise in the generational transition of art assets and address the specific complexities of art succession and legal structuring for cross-border families — bridging cultural assets and formal family office governance. On these questions, and on philanthropic planning, we work alongside a curated network of specialist advisors, ensuring our clients have access to the right expertise at every stage. We operate with the discretion and confidentiality that collections of this significance demand.

Our formal training bridges art history and business. Harriet holds an MPA in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment from New York University. Süreyya holds an MA in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art. Both sit alongside practical knowledge earned across every stage of the collection lifecycle, in every kind of market, on every continent.
